Reading Shakespeare

My impressions on reading Shakespeare's play are that it's really confusing. How the story goes is interesting, and I know what it says, but it takes a while to understand what it's saying. He writes is stories in riddles making it hard to understand the first time read. If I were reading Shakespeare's plays, manly Romeo and Juliet, I would have to read it more than once.
