Assimilation

I think that it depends. It depends on how old the people are that are moving here, because if you have been living in the previous place for many years your going to want to keep your original culture,(cultural pluralism). But if the person was maybe in their 20s, they might want to learn a new culture,(cultural assimilation). I think that cultural pluralism is better because they might be moving to America because they may be running from a war and not used to anything here. They should be able to practice their culture without being forced to do otherwise.
