"To have these feelings exposed to the whole world", that one I would say is better. If you were to do that then people would be able to get to know you easier then if you were to keep your emotions bottled up. It would be harder for yourself as well because then you wouldn't be comfortable with other people. Harder to make friends that could help you later on in life.
