"The Road Not Taken"

It kind of almost sounds like the growth of a tree but I think it might be what it says. It sounds like a journey to the end of life, kind of like the road of death. It explains that it is a path going under ground and then you fall into darkness. The journey of the afterlife like in ancient Egypt. "And that has made all the difference" is the last line of the poem and I think it doesn't really have to mean anything good or bad, it could mean that it wasn't the best choice and made a huge difference as it says.
