Did you like Touching Spirit Bear?

I really only like books that I care to read and this one I didn't care to read much. Sure they ending is ok, and the beginning is ok but the story all together... is just weird. A kid in High School almost for no reason goes up to someone else and beats the crap out of them. And all of a sudden he becomes nicer... what kind of story is that. Sure there was justice and everything turned out ok, but really...
